This week marks the 1st task deadline for the Race: Completing the MBTI Personality Test. I’ve embarked on a number of these exams and they are always intriguing… and a bit terrifying- really, how can pre-formulated tests know me so well?
Understanding more about personalities- your’s and your colleagues / team / family / squad- can be a useful tool in living more compassionately. It allows us to engage more thoughtfully from the basis of one another’s emotional needs & perspectives. I am curious to see what compilation of acronyms will represent my squad and team out on the Race.
My Result: ENFJ.
Decoded, that means:
Extraversion: Prefer the outer world.
Intuition: Prefer to interpret and add meaning to information.
Feeling: Prefer to look at people and special circumstances for decisions.
Judging: Prefer to get things decided.
“Warm, empathetic, responsive, and responsible. Highly attuned to the emotions, needs, and motivations of others. Find potential in everyone, want to help others fulfill their potential. May act as catalysts for individual and group growth. Loyal, responsive to praise and criticism. Sociable, facilitate others in a group, and provide inspiring leadership.” (From Myers-Briggs)
Summed up in one simple description from my soul-mate-best-friend:
I am “Life’s Cheerleader.”
